Dead Inside

<sub>Emotions are like the colours to an empty canvas. They paint excitement, difference, and they make a picture truly alive with life. So, for one to be alive, their life must be a bustling canvas of colours from the sharp reds to the melancholy blues and the strict greys. I had a friend once, she had a beautiful mask. Full of life, it was a masterpiece. She acted friendly and excited, but the shadows leeched the colour out and revealed the truth. 

The moment you looked into her eyes you knew, she was already Dead Inside.</sub>

I feel like everyone was going to choose a colour and just make it represent an emotion. But emotions are not that simple and neither is colour, its a swirl of many that create the true representation of life. So for me, I decided to go with simple colour and the lack of colour. emotion and the lack of emotion. life and the lack of life.
